I had the best time at Preference last week and I had the best group I could ask for. There's nothing like going on a date with your best friends.

Christmas
Always keep the true meaning of Christmas in your heart. It's not just a time to celebrate the birth of the Savior, but also the Savior's life. The one gift on my "grownup Christmas list" would be to influence someone's life the way the Savior has influenced mine. I want to live a humble life like Him and think of each day as being a blessing and a chance to serve someone new.

Shattered
Memories come in flashes of where and when we were
Of times spent talking and walking, now all a painful blur.
At times I think it's a simple task to move on
But moments creep in that hard emotion depends upon.
Life isn't the same in both light and dark ways
I spend it in altogether numb and confusing days.
Somehow our trust cracked and eventually shattered
But at the break I thought none of it really mattered.
And now I sit realizing and pondering our mistakes
Feeling and shaking over all the pains and aches.
