Pen (Metaphor Poem)

An ink threaded needle
Sewing letter and word,
Stitching stories unheard.
Weaves, twists, and turns,
Then the thread adjourns
And ends its write
That stained fabric,
Fragile and white.

Haiku, Cinquain, and Tanka

 PIANO
(Haiku)
My hand strikes the key.
A metallic drop of rain rings,
The sound is piercing.

DREAMS
(Cinquain)
Dreaming,
Cheating what’s real,
Meeting your darkest hopes,
Leaving your deep secrets in sleep.
Dream on.

ANXIETY
(Tanka)
My sanity tears,
Thinking becomes oppression.
My lungs claw for air,
My mouth fills with depression.
Anxious possession.
